So I'm barely 4 days into phase one, and I had plans to take my friend Jill out to dinner. We went to one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Princeton.
The people with me ate/drank:
Wild Mushroom Bruchetta
Paella
Chocolate tart
Steak and potatoes
Apple tart
a pitcher of red wine sangria
I had:
Carpaccio ( 2 paper thin slices of organic beef with a salad on top)
Salmon with french green beans, cherry tomatoes red onion and olive (told them to hold the potatoes)
Iced tea, sparkling water.
This was soooooooo hard. The smell of wine, fresh bread and evoo, pasta, cheese & chocolate were almost too much to bear.
looking through the menu was torture.
I was rewarded this morning when I got on the scale. I lost 4 pounds!!
